Hundreds rally in Halifax to protest N.S. government bills, policies

“We have hundreds of people who are very clearly saying that, particularly against the backdrop of tariffs, that this surprise agenda that this government brought in of weakening accountability, of chipping away at democracy, centralizing power is not what is needed right now,” Opposition and NDP Leader Claudia Chender said.

“What’s needed right now is a voice of unity in an effort to bring all Nova Scotians together to weather the storm that is at our shores.”
