“NDP education critic Claudia Chender said she’s pleased the union has opened the opportunity for more consultation. She also called for clarity from the government.
“It’s hard to understand what the government’s position on anything is right now after hearing Minister Churchill speak,” she said. “He will pause or he won’t, he has spoken to the union or he hasn’t. We’re not getting clear answers and we certainly are looking for those answers on behalf of the children of this province.””
